World Education Conference

SEMINARS - Friday through Sunday, April 26 - 28

Enhance your visit to Worlds and learn about carving, photography and conservation by attending a seminar! Learn techniques to create award-winning carvings from champion and professional carvers. Seminars cover a wide range of topics from novice to advanced techniques and are designed with YOU in mind. $12 for Members, $15 for Non-Members, and Youth 18 and under are free. Register at the Education table in the main hallway of the convention center.

Beginner Carving Classes

CARVING 101 (for beginners - adults and children 14 and up)
Saturday, April 27

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Don’t miss an opportunity to share your joy of carving with someone new. Enroll adults and students ages 14 and up to learn the process of carving a head and body of a small decoy. All materials are provided for this seminar. Lead by an expert carver and instructor.

Please Note: Conference pricing does not include admission into the competition hall or admission to the Ward Museum. Pre-registration is required for all classes, fieldtrips and seminars. All classes are subject to cancelation before April 5th, 2013. Adult and Youth Seminars are on a first come, first serve basis. Seminar and fieldtrip balances are due at registration. Member prices are for current Ward Museum Members only. Youth under the age of 18 receive FREE admission to seminars. Seminars subject to cancelation without notification. Refunds honored in full upon administrative cancelation of classes/seminars/fieldtrips.
