Education Calendar

The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art's education calendar is updated regularly. Some events may require pre-registration and may not take place at the Museum so you will want to view the program details. Carve and Paint a Miniature Meadowlark - Beginner, intermediate, advanced all welcome. Power carving, bring your own tools, a materials list will be available. Learn how to carve a miniature Western Meadowlark (about 4.5x4.5x7.5 inches) on fence posts made of Tupelo. The Long-Head Cone Flowers are brass and so is the barb wire. Acrylic paint, students can choose if they want to carve an open or closed mouth bird.
