Photo Tour of Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge with Cam Miller

August 13, 2017, 5:30 - 10:30 am

Registration is NOW OPEN.  REGISTER HERE.

Part of the Art in Nature Photography Festival.  Join Cam Miller, 2016 Keynote Speaker and multiple-time winner of the Art In Nature Photography Festival, at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge for an amazing sunrise photo shoot.  This beginner-suitable tour will focus on birds in flight, landscapes at sunrise, and discovering gems near the refuge like abandoned farmhouses and lone trees.  Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is home to an incredible amount of plant and animal diversity in its three major habitats – forest, marsh and shallow water.  Designated as an International Important Bird Area, the refuge has been referred to as the "Everglades of the North," and has been called one of the "Last Great Places" by the Nature Conservancy.  Cost per person is $60 for museum members and SU faculty, students, and staff; and $75 for non-members.
